I have come to realize that my passion in life is helping others heal. Just as pain comes in many different forms, so does healing. From decreasing stress by inducing relaxation, to alleviating physical, emotional, or mental pain stored in the body, to just feeling connected through physical touch, the healing therapies I provide target one, if not all of these human conditions.

My original inclination to help others was in pursuit of a nursing degree; however, over my time in that program, I was drawn in a different direction–to a more holistic, less technical role in healing. I literally wanted more hands-on time with those I was helping. I graduated from the Virginia School of Massage in 1996. Since becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, I apprenticed to become a Licensed Esthetician beginning in 1998. I wanted to further my knowledge and incorporate healing of not only the physical body but the emotional, mental and spiritual body as well. This lead me to become a Usui Reiki level 1 and 2 practitioner in June 2017. In 2020, I completed Reiki level 3, 4 and Master training with Kiki Hockey. After meeting and working with Martha Wright, a Shaman and Reiki Master herself, I went through her Reiki Master Training course and became a certified Shamanic Reiki Master. I began an apprenticeship with Martha Wright Shaman in June 2021, to become a modern day shaman. I am presently enrolled at The Institute for Grief Massage to become a Certified Grief Massage Therapist. I have taken and will continue to take a variety of continuing education courses that add to my repertoire of skill and knowledge. Other specialties that I offer are doTERRA AromaTouch Technique, Prenatal Massage, Bellabaci Cupping, Trigger Point Release, and Myofascial Release. These are the foundational practices of my proverbial house of healing at this point in my life.

Everyone needs help healing at times in their life. I too have needed healing and have taken comfort from these practices myself and have seen the benefits in others, with whom I work. As I move through my own loss of a child, change in my health, loss of a parent and a career change, I am able to meet you where you are in your journey of healing with compassion, love and without judgement. Therefore, I approach each therapeutic session by customizing a treatment to best suit your needs. I look forward to working with you to find better balance and health in your overall wellness.
